Smile Custom Master Cylinder

Hey guys, as many know i have been workin on my car alot lately.. Im doing a fully rebuilt motor and eliminating as much weight off my SSL as possible.

Recently I got together with a Company (Name Undisclosed currently) to create a new Master cylinder kit for Evo's using. Not only does the kit look great but it saves tons of weight.

My main purpose for this is to give people another option when wanting to eliminate the abs system like me. Also give a new look and to lose a good amount of weight.

There are two different fluid canisters that can be used but i believe i will use the big one.

We are still in process of getting everything situated but this is what i have so far.

Pic of Product

Mock up

What is Eliminated

I will get full Weight of either item ASAP.

I really would like opinions and what you guys think.

That looks really nice. How much was the new one and is it a straight bolt in? I'd like to see it when it's all done and with the motor in.

That's nice and all, but what are the performance gains?

This kit is not for performance, it is made so people have another option instead of buying a RS NON Abs kit from mitsu when they want to delete the ABS.
Also this kit is for those weight freaks that like to get every bit of possible weight off the car and for the people like me that must have a Extremely Clean Engine Bay.

This shouldnt really change to much, but possibly be a bit harder in pressure.

TTP Engineering used a similar setup on there evo, may want to ask them for more info on it.

Its not as pretty though

Are you putting in another booster?

If not the peal is going to be extremely hard with no booster and you're going to loose mechanical advantage.

^ Not all true, without running a brake booster yes it will indead increase the hardness of the pedal. But by using the proper side Mc, it will help with that issue..
Overall the pedal will be a bit harder but performance will not be decreased. The car will still have brake within the same distance.

I actualy have driven a car without a MC, the pedal was a bit stiffer but wasn't anything that i couldnt get used to.. I kinda of reminded me of a car with a aftermarket clutch.

In all we are working together to develop the best kit we can, while retaining the same specifications.
