Tire Wear?

I have an 04 evo 8 that has 59,000 miles. It was in a front end accident 3 1/2 yrs ago at the 20,000 mile mark. And the tires have seemed to wear bad since then, i had a set of tires last from the 20,000 mile mark to having them cup badly at 45,000 (only 25k?) and now the new set is cupping at 59,000 miles (14k?). now the shop that fixed all the damage is saying when they did an alignment it wouldve showed any flaws in the car. okay thats fine and dandy but what else would cause the car to wear that bad and that fast? i dont drive crazy around corners and dont whip ****ties with it, just normal driving while getting on the throttle sometimes. any input would be helpful because i have the insurance company and the shop working on this as i type. my guess is the car was never aligned properly and its still off and thats why they wore bad. idk please help guys

and i took it to mitsubishi a week ago to have a wheel bearing replaced and they said the bearing wore out because of the cars frame is off approx 1 inch, which was from the accident, thats how this whole crap shoot of a problem started. the shop and the adjuster said the frame isnt off so there going to do a alignment on it today at somepoint and i would think if its off that much, it could only be from the accident not from a pothole or bumps in the road.

What kind of tires were you running?
25k sounds about right for a set of tires.

which model of the ecsta?
I would just have your alignment rechecked. Make sure no toe in/out.

not sure which model exactly, the cars not with me right now.

i want to know why mitsubishi declined my wheel bearing repair if theres nothing wrong with the frame. because they said the frame is off approx 1 inch. so if the frame is off 1 inch that would be from the accident. and if its not off an inch and the frame is fine then i'll take my car for alingment another set of damn tires. but then mitsubishi better do my wheel bearing for me since im still under warranty

Also check the strut for fluid. A blown strut can cause cupping.

Not necessarily. If its just going, it can bounce some and you would not really feel it.

Lack of rotation, incorrect air pressure, and alignment can all be causes of tire cupping.
