Yeah but I got them at a price I couldn't pass up (brand new too).

I guess I'll have to live with this loud sqeaking sound at every red light. I lubed the hell of out everything and it still sqeaks loudly. I'll just ride them out and get better pads next time... Unless of course, there's another deal.

Try some of this stuff:



They should sell it at your local auto parts place. Give the back of the pad a good coat and let it dry. Reinstall the shim (Girodisc or OEM). Then coat the shim with some high temp copper grease, then reinstall the pads.

Wow I just replaced my rear pads OEM and they are squealing like crazy and I greased the back of the pads up pretty good.I'll give that CRC disc brake quiet a try this weekend.

I had some Hawk HP+'s and they squealed like pigs! I got rid of them asap and got Endless pads but I still have sqealing but not as bad as before. I dont think I have any shims on either. Does anybody have oem shims I can buy from them???

I honestly dont think that the shims are are the problem I installed new shims with my OEM pads and they still squeal.

I'm going to have to try some of these suggestions, because i thought i did something wrong when i installed the Evo brakes on my Galant because they squeal like crazy sometimes.
