Thanks man.
I should have these on my car as soon as I get the front spacers in but with 245/45/18 (I had the tires brand new already or would do a 255). I will post pics if I get the motor back in next week, no sense posting pics without the weight in the front end.

Hey guys, Im wanting to put some Advan Rz-df 19x9 x25's on my evo 7. Im pretty sure they will fit but can anyone confirm this? I cannot use any spacers as its illegal in my country. Also was hoping to put 245x35x19 tires on but do you think ill need to go something more like 235x30x19? I have adjustable coilovers and will want to drop it as low as possible with still good drivability.

Most of the experienced wheel / tire guys on this forum frown on anything in the 19" range. Just too large of a wheel for the EVO wheel wells. Just our opinion

I ran your no.s using both the 35 & 30 series. The 35 series is much closer to the stock circumference than the 30. Running a +25 wheel will need a rear fender roll at the minimum. We cant tell you if the wheel will work w/out spacers as that is determined by the hub & spoke design.
BTW, 18's looks way better & will perform better than the 19's

Owned my Evo for about 8 years now and I'm just now switching up my stock wheel and tire combo haha.

I'm looking to grab a pair of TE37RT Burning Reds 18x9.5 +23 offset. I'm currently on stock suspension (Evo IX MR) and will be going Swift Spec R springs eventually. I've already done some research and I will need my fenders rolled, but the question is, will I need anything else? My tire size was going to be 255/35/18 but I always read mixed reviews some saying it will fit with just fenders rolled, some saying it won't and I'll need a bumper bolt relocation, pulled fenders, etc. Can someone please confirm and if needed, recommend a better tire size?

Thanks in advance!

Ran your no.s on calc. +23 is very, very aggressive, but doable. You will need a rear fender roll & fender push and likely the bumper bolt relocate

The reason you hear mixed comments IMO is due to some folks running stock susp & dont work the susp hard enough to cause rub. Some run out of spec camber & note no rub. Some set-ups rub but only on hard compression's or when they have a rear passenger. Some set-ups rub & they wont admit it

My advice is always towards the zero rub scenario running stock camber. See this pic here w/the strut removed & the wheel shoved fully into the well. Thats how it should work when youve been properly clearanced

Did a quick search & not too many Varrstoen threads. I know the Rota line better & they have many wheels that fit over the brakes. On the street I run their P45R 17x9.5 +30 running 275/40's (no spacers)

Heres a thread on your question

It works & works well. Both the EVO8/9 wheel & the X wheel share the same offset & the X wheel obviously clears the front Brembos

Thank you so much for your reply. As for my car, it's only street driven and a garage queen/weekend warrior at the moment. What size tire do you recommend me using? I've always thought that sweet spot for 18x9.5 was 255/35, but some are recommending 245/40. Is the difference between the two that big and what do you recommend? I'm not experienced with tire stretching and what not as I've always ran the stock wheel and stock tire combo.

The chart shows the allowable widths for the 9.5" at 245-275

Sure, a good choice would be a 245/40 which will help minimize the required rear fender work dictated by the aggressive +23 offset

The 245/40 gives you a relatively close circumference to stock at approx -1.5% error factor. The 35 series is actually further away from the stock circum @ +2.3% error

The 40 series helping w/ride comfort, preventing wheel damage & gives a nice meaty look

Hopefully you guys can help me out. Im almost ready to get some 18x9.5 +22 gramlight 57dr.

Planning on running 255/35s but now debating 245/40s?

Will the set up fit without coil overs and a fender roll and bumper bolt relocation?

Car is on hotchkis lowering springs right now.

The +22 makes this set-up just a bit tough. Should be fine w/your std struts as the +22 is way outboard vs the stock +38

Ran your no.s using the 245/40 = This setup will require a rear fender roll, fender pull & the bumper bolt relocate to work correclty w/out rub & w/out adding out of spec rear camber

Dont get me wrong, its very doable & will work well if the proper fender clearancing is done

Thank you MinusPrevious. I think I worded it wrong but am definitely planning on the fender roll/pull and bumper bolt relocations.

Now to pick out the tires and find someone to do the roll and pull.

Update:

MB Battles 18x9 +35 on 245/40 WILL rub against the rear fenders. You WILL need to get your fenders rolled.

The center caps do not fit as well.
