Ever since I put the star specs on my car I have been very please with them. They grip in both dry and wet weather very well, ride comfort is good, and don't make much of any noise. My only problem is when I go to the dragstrip they almost have too much grip...weird I know. But before I had my launch down really well with some sumitomo's. I could get some spin out of the front tires and wouldn't bog on my launches. But now with the star specs, even in the street I can't get the car to spin the tires over. I have a competition twin, which grabs like no other, so that isn't the problem. So when I go to the track my 60ft suffers because the car bogs
This has lead me to think maybe I should try another tire that isn't so grippy. What do you guys think?

 

pffft, you just need more power.

 

try running more pressure so the tires have a smaller contact patch... just watch out for wheel hop.

 

The car makes plenty of power since I used to spin the front tires all the time with the last set. It was a slicker, harder tire though. But the car should be making a good but more power soon
