Anybody run 15" rims on their evo with stock brakes? If so what offset or what size spacers are you running if they are needed. I tried searching and google searching couldnt find anything thanks guys.

Just curious what are you wanting 15" wheels for? Rallying? I would be pretty surprised if 15 inchers clear the front brakes.

You're not clearing the stock brakes with 15's. Period.

No not rallying, drag.

Cool if they dont clear thats what I was wanting to know. I guess it will be 17's for a while then. Unless someone has a recipe for 16's

Thanks.

Out of curiosity what offset is needed on 16" rims then? If I cant find some rx7 wheels then maybe I will go another route.

All depends on spoke clearance in the front. For all other reference use a wheel offset calculator. The one from 1010 tires is my favorite. Stock wheel offset is 38mm on a 8" wheel.

RX7 wheels are 50mm and use 20mm spacer in front so 50mm r, 30mm f.

So If I got some 45 offset rota slips then I would need a 15mm spacer in the front? I mean I dont want to get some tires on not be able to use them at all is basically what Im trying to eliminate.

You should really do some research on offset. Use the calculator I told you about. Offset is a dependent variable on width. Also, like I already said, spoke design plays into clearing the front calipers. You could have two wheels with the same width and offset and one could fit and another might not.
