Pad not biting the rotor properly

No pad rotor combination will use the whole rotor surface it's just a question of which part of the rotor is not used.

The pads stuck to the rotor, and b/c I didn't drive the car for few days after rain so it took some effort to release the pads.

forward and back gently no need to burn up a clutch, this happens all the time and isn't frozen calipers.
