when i get up to about 80 my steering wheel starts to vibrate then when i brake it vibrates more and also in 5th gear it lags and doesn't wanna pick up speed to fast but then i let off the gas and push down on it again it works fine

 

I'm thinking try a wheel balance and front brake rotor runout.

 

alright but should fix the 5th gear thing to ? it happens very little

 

Check for bent wheel or unbalance wheel/tire. Wheel vibration does not matter what gear, but more at speed. In 5th usually means you're doing 55-65, which is about when yu will start to feel the vibration.

 

i think 5th gear issue ur having is unrelated. ur on a 2.0 block? that could be your problem

def. get your wheels balanced. could have a bad tierod or balljoint also. lift wheel off the ground and see if wheel has any side to side and up and down play. if you take it to a shop for balance. take it somewhere you trust. tell them to check for play in front end. if you trust them and they are reputable hopefully they wont upsale u a bunch of $hit u dont need. and will be honest. g/l and report back findings
