i got new pads and had the oem rotors resurfaced and bedded them correctly about 5-6000 miles ago and everything was great now all of a sudden im getting really bad steering wheel shake when braking above 40 mph, does it sound like a rotor issue to everyone. i've cleaned the wheels and got touge factory centric rings and re-tightened the calipers and checked for a bad wheel bearing and still no luck.

FYI my tries are currently really worn down and im in the process of looking for new ones

 

May have a build up of pad material on the rotors. Can cause a vibration feeling when applying the brakes as the pad skips over the built up material. You can lightly hand sand the rotor surface and re-bed them in.

 

Have you hit anything also cause you could have thrown your allignment off. And does it just shake when you brake at those speeds

 

i will try sanding it tonight. haven't hit anything and i only get shakes stoping from 40 and up

 

This. Had the same problem on my car.

 

Damm that's weird maybe bad calipers? That's what I would think of next.
