I might be going out of state to look at an 06 GSR. The dealer said the only concern is the rear wheel bearing might be going out because it makes loud noises. I don't recall any of my other vehicles ever making such defining noises from wheel bearings. Is it possible he's using that excuse to mask the death whine or the IX's bearings are like that when they're bad??

The tc death whine and a wheel bearing going out are two very distinct noises.

All of my bearings have made noise when they go bad... Either from the bearing itself, or the rotor dragging on the pads
