Input shaft bearing

Does anyone else have this bearing making noise? Clutch in in neutral it goes away, clutch out it returns. Does it in each gear it's the input shaft bearing I know but does anyone else have this noise and just drive it?

Act hd with lightweight flywheel. I'm positive it's the bearing Ive had it changed before you can make a pull in a gear to decent rpm then push the clutch in and hear the noise while you're rolling in that gear but goes away when u put shifter in neutral

ok i was gonna just suggest it may be clutch chatter or something along those lines.. but if youre confident its the bearing.. i guess the only thing you can do is pull the trans and replace the bearing.

sorry i never had it happen, so i wont be of any help.. but if you narrowed it down to that bearing id replace it.. id maybe contact a few transmission places like shep, tre, jack and maybe ask what they use for replacement when it happens.. maybe theres a better aftermarket solution.

I'm wondering if it may actually be your clutch disc hub...ACT discs generally are noisy.

I have this noise...it just started a couple months ago. I have close to 40k miles on my ACT unsprung 6 puck clutch & Fidanza flywheel...clutch and flywheel are fine, grab great. My input shaft bearing is so loud my knock sensor picks it up, sucks! I'm just going to ride it out until I get everything to do my 5 spd & non acd t-case swap...

I changed the input bearing 500 f'ing miles ago guys!!!! This is crazy. I'm just gonna do a new act ad 5 speed swap this winter but for now it'll just have to make noise. Anyone ever bought parts off sheep for a 5 speed swap or know about how much the parts are?
