Determining what tire size to go with

I need new tires and I currently have 225/45 R17 but I don't care for how they roll so much. Here are some pics?

What size should I go with? I do have aftermarket suspension, BC Coilovers, and the car sits a bit lower than factory.

Judging by the amount of stretch, I'm guessing they're 8.5"-9" width wheels

It should say the width at the very least somewhere on the inside of the rim. Those are Rota P45R so if you knew the width combined with diameter (17) you could narrow down the offest pretty easily.

Ill have to try and look on the inside of the wheel for some measurements or markings of some sort.
