warped rotors

warped rotors

I was wondering why my rotors warp Quickly.I always torque my lug nuts to spec and go easy on the brakes.Any input appreciated

If you really do drive the way you say you do, your rotors aren't warped.

Yeah, there's always that.

Actually it is pretty hard to warp a Brembo brake rotor - even for the guys that track it is rare. So, if you are driving like granny something else is going on.

I ran Hawk pads front and rear. Never had a problem.

Slowly.

I think the answer to your problem could be in your first post. Don't "go easy on the brakes" tell us how you bedded in the pads.

This works on old and used pads and rotors as well as new.

Depends how much dust you want...Hawks could be very dusty and noisy.

Spend more money that will fix the problem. It's not how you're driving or installing the pads.

thanks braking gurus

I have stock brembo pads with advance auto rotors after turning stock once.The stock pads have 30000 on em.IM getting a shimmy in the steering wheel when slowing on the interstate from 80 to 70 not bad at low speeds .Is this a bedding issue ?Thanks for your input
