wheel/tires fitment

hey i was wondering whats the fitment issue if i plan to run 275/40/17 on 17x9.5+15 wheels. i remember that i read somewhere before that in order to put 275 in the rears i had to run a certain amount of spacers, but i forgot how much mm. if i remember correctly the spacers are to prevent the tires from rubbing against the control arms. also i am lowered on swift springs with -3 camber up front and -1.5 rear. thanks for any info regarding my question.

You wont need any spacers with what you mentioned but probably some fender rolling in the back

Look around on here a bit, a lot of good posts about what wheel spacing to run.

I would be worried about a +15 offset, that seems very small, I would expect you to need pretty intense fender rolling / pulling to clear.

Look at it this way, even if double the offset & run +30 you will need the following:
1. Good roll
2. Fender push using a porta pwr
3. Bumper bolt relocate
4. possible rear splash guard mods

275/40/17 is one of the largest tires you can run regarding circumference & not to mention the width

Trust me, I run the same tire
