It's just my experience that good pads with good bite, will eat your rotors. No good bite = no eat rotors.

There isn't much of a compromise here, they can advertise all they want, but I don't buy it.

Low brake dust is also a bad thing in terms of performance, good brakes will dust more, and that is that.

The noise is actually improving with use. I have not had a free couple of hours to take everything apart, lube, reassemble, and re-bed the pads. I may get a chance this coming weekend but it's been incredibly busy around the house lately. The noise only happens less than half of how often it used to and it's quieter. The surface of the rotors is starting to look more "used" as well, if that makes sense.
