EVO Rear Cross member advice

Guys it seams that the rear crossmember is more body then suspension so sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

short story: 3 broken sway bar bolts in the crossmember. Tried to drill one out from teh back side ended up eating through the aluminum cross member instead of the bolt. Not terminal as I now have new hole for a relocated bolt

The diff is out of the car after being spec'd by Sheperd. I can get a new cross member for around 100 bucks..

Should I get a new cross member and risk breaking off more bolts.. or spend the labor trying to repair these 3 broke bolts ?

I am not sure about the effort of removing that crossmember on my back in my garage with basic hand tools.

TIA

Have you tried using an Easy-out bit?

Going to take it a shot and have them drill them out... if it looks like it is getting ugly they will stop and i will replace it.

Thanks

Put some anti seize on the bolts when you put them in and you wont snap them off next time--as long as you are using good quality bolts..
