its 17x9J 22 offset.. so its pretty wide, i can go up to 265 tires.. maybe more dunno... One word from my experience, its pretty difficult to roll our fenders.. well though my evo is the JDM one, i think the steel/aluminium should be the same for u US guys.. but anyway my tire shop said the metal was too tough to be rolled so i had to panel beat the fender...

Glad EVO fits 9.5 though.. COOL!!
Yeah man... It was funny to see all the Subie guys jealous about what we can fit. They did a PRODRIVE Stage 3 on a customer's car who had 18x8.5 Volk wheels... He had to roll the fenders to get that to fit.

9.5 inch wheel with 235 section tires????

I will have to agree with D...

Look at Changy's car, 255 with 9 inchers is right, not to mention it will work to better the car. Your car looks like **** and you have lost the advantages of running 9.5 inches.

Sorry dude my 2 cents.

Calm down man, the guy's experimenting. Besides, I think it looks pretty good.

i think it looks good....but as performance wise, the tires might be just a butt hair too skinny...if they ride well, then thats all that matters if that is all you are looking for...congrats on the wheels....i have some on the way...just waiting for the tires to get there they keep telling me...i also opted for the Kumho MX's...235/40/18 as well but will be on 18x8.5 wheels.

Took the words right out of my mouth.... it is called EXPERIMENTATION! This car is a toy for me... get it? Not that hard to understand. I posted what my intentions were awhile back. 255s are probably the optimal tire width for 9.5 inch wheels.

The tires ride great, man... you are going to love them. You can't beat a $130 tire that is almost as sticky as the stockers and lasts longer to boot.
