Brake dont seem biting enough.

Hi, i would hope to get some advise as my current evo 5 front brakes seem not biting enough. Ive replaced all the brembo service kit, using endless ccr 800cc pads (f & r), project miu front rotors, steel braided brake hose & project miu brake oil.

Beside changing to a bigger size calipers, is there any ways of improving my braking performance?

During track days or emergency braking, i usually hv to pump the brake few times to get better bite.

Is there a way to modify a bigger brake master cylinder?

Thanks in advance.

Dont know much about the EVO5 but unless Mitsu under spec'd the MC I doubt that is your issue

My guess is a possible bedding issue or inadequate pad choice for its use

You need to research the heat rating of the pads. Some pads are very street friendly and will have max friction even when cold. Others need some heat to bite, like the hawk HPS.

Evo brakes tend to be a little "wooden" when cold anyway.

If you didn't bleed the system correctly there could be air in the lines causing your calipers to not bite all the way down. I'd check that first before investing in more hardware.
