255's min rim is an 8.5", oe is an 8".

They fit but some will look more "ballooney" than others.

Those fit too, I've had a set of 245/45's before. They're a bit taller than stock so just make sure your fender liner are all clipped correctly so they don't start rubbing on the tire and ripping themselves apart.

Yes they will fit however as mentioned by others it isnt an ideal size for an 8" rim. What kind of driving do you do with the car?

Yes it fits. It's just not the ideal size.

Stock 235/45/17
That is the best fit for 8jj wheel
Going up in width will result in softer sidewall
