I made my own MBE the one that bolts to the back of the diff, and it broke a while ago, and I have been driving and racing with it broken for a while. I finally picked up the TS MBE and installed that. I also have aluminum inserts in the cast iron side diff supports.

I had more clunking from the rear when the MBE was broken, but all bolts are good on the side diff supports.

I would recommend running the MBE to prevent the forward and backward motion of the diff and running solid side supports.
Boz, hows the noise on the MBE? So you were running the solid and not the urtherane bushings right

Cold in Vegas? LOL! You crazy

At first I was like "ah sweet, shedding weight" now, I seeing deleting HVAC and what not, then you loose that "street car" aspect and it becomes a full race car. I would wanna shed weight without losing some of those functionalities.

Something to consider with the rear battery, you are adding in a bunch of weight in battery cable too as at a minimum, you'll want 4AWG, preferably 2AWG.
You also need a battery kill switch on a rear mount battery for the track.
Lastly, batteries have higher chemical potential when they are warm...I've seen rear mount small battery setups struggle to start warm cars where the same battery but in the engine bay worked perfectly fine...

Small battery in the engine bay FTMFW.

Low 30's, sometime high 20's in the dead of winter is cold when the summer is consistently 105+. Also, there is never any humidity, which makes the cold feel colder.

Hey kiss ***,
Depends on the strength of the polyurethane.
It has to be really tough poly if you're not using solid mounts.

You're welcome.
Damn this thread got off topic really fast.

i posted that the rules are listed at the top of the forum
he called me a kiss ***.
then he trolled my thread.

...you repeated nearly word for word what the mod said.
Never argued with what the mod said. Are you living in imagination land or what?

And I then answered your question from my experience with using high strength poly and a mustache bar delete.
