Will different offset harm my drivetrain
Will different offset harm my drivetrain
Hey Guys/Gals,
I bought these Rota G-force 18x9 +30 and +25 as my back up - incase one cracks on road or autocross. I currently run +30 all around. Will using +25 harm my diffs/transfercase front or rear?
Thank you

as a spare to get you home, a different offset wheel on one corner won't cause any problems. I wouldn't leave it on because it could make the car handle weird. Especially if its on the front since it changes scrub radius..
Different offsets on the front and rear won't matter, but I'd keep the front offset left and right the same and the rear offset left and right the same (why anyone would run different on a non-oval-track-car, i have no idea)
sizes and widths will hurt drivetrain, offset wont

This def. makes sense guys and probably help me save $$$ from replacing components on fully understanding my drivetrain. I bought these one ebay from a seller for $46 total for both. This shows you with lack knowledge with a cheap - can cost quadrople amount down the line. Thank you again guys.
