No, applied after the wheels were painted.

The wheels were actually already on the car when I applied the decals, so it was a bit of a pain rolling the car back and forth, to get an easier position for the application.

I've subsequently been told the wheels are BBS, not Enkei, so those decals will be replaced.

The last detail will be to paint the 'Bridgestone' and 'Potenza' white on the tyres.

I didn't know Nissan ever used BBS wheels. Learn something everyday I suppose..

I really want a set of these to replace my stock wheels now.. I haven't found anyone with them for sale in the states..

I'd say go for it. They aren't easy to come by locally either. Guess I just got lucky when you consider what proper forged wheels like these actually cost as aftermarket wheels. I paid the equivalent of 400 US$.

I'm still trying to confirm if BBS is indeed the manufacturer. No luck yet. Perhaps somebody on this forum knows?

I'm in Durban. Unlike Subaru's, Evo's are relatively rare here, so they're generally weekend cars for those who have them. Most have ridiculously low mileages. Mine is sitting on 36000kms.

Talked to some Japanese GT-R guys, and they too said it was made by BBS.. From GTRs 32 - 34. Rays now makes the wheels for the R35.

That GTR wheels has always been good looking even on other cars. I actually have them but haven't tried them on any other car. It looks great! Thanks to you man, now I have a nice idea with the Evo. Hehe.

Looks great! I had a set for a few months. I had mine powder coated metallic bronze. The looked pretty nice. I ran them with 245/40/17 tires. I learned a couple of things with that setup

The rims are pretty heavy and 245/40/17 are too short of a tire lol
