You can find a good condition used set of Volks for ~$1500. (I suggest CE28N or RE30). For a IX, you want Look for 17x9+35 or 18x9+35. 17x8.5+30 and 18x8.5+30 will also work if the max tire size you want to run is 255.

There really are no other new wheels that compare with the RPF1's in terms of price/weight/strength.
