RPF1 Alternatives

Hey guys in the market for good affordable wheels that are comparable to the RPF1 price to performance mark.

We all know of how great these are but honestly they just aren't aggressive enough for me.

I'm trying to avoid reps but want to try and stay sub $1500

Gram Lights 57Xtreme is the only thing that's gonna be in that zone for quality and price, but are a little bit heavier. Nothing else in that price range compares to the RPF1s, IMO. Their bang for the buck is high.

That's exactly what I was going to ask

What are the specs on the RPFs?

Like someone said, Gram lights, Work, or used set of Advans. The Work are bit heavier than the other two. I also say NT03+M.

I'd tried everywhere looking for other rims because I think rpfs look a bit plain but for price and weight I just kept coming back to them, there like some chrome type option that I have never seen in real life that looks Interesting but it's only on some sizes

I mean aggressive in terms of style not measurements, sorry I should have specified. I tend to like at least some concave look. The RPF1 looks akin to a fancy spare tire to me. Just flat and plain. Doesn't really lend a thing to the character of the car to me I guess.

NTO3+M is about it.

RPF1s look GREAT with the right offset and width. Maybe you're just looking at garbage setups.

Tony (has some mean looking RPF1s)

Any recommendations for sizing on stock fender and height? I'm willing to reevaluate the RPF1

17 is my main plan but I do have some 18" 245s with good meat left so if I find the right 18 I'll go with that and remount tires to save money.

I don't DD the car it's all pleasure use from cruising to Auto X to some.trsck days so it doesn't have to be the lightest wheels in the world just no bricks or garbage wheels

For a wheel that has a lot of concaveness to it I went w/the P45R 17x9.5 +30(No Spacers needed) wrapped in a super wide Federal 595

At double the price I also can't justify the TC105N. The useable offsets are really flat looking, and even though I'm not a very stancey dude I'd still like some depth to the spokes.

I'm glad that RPF1s exist, but why do they have to be so good? They just leave no other choices.

Recently I found some obscure wheel manufacturers for a friend's BMW E30. I wonder if there are wheels like that out there for us. (Jongbloed E30 wheels, with respectable racing pedigree and they're even $150 each. What's the secret Evo equivalent to this wheel? https://i.imgur.com/Z4T9c8x.jpg)
