I've done a lot of research on both these products and i have found its affordable. i recently got my racing brakes. Im now waiting for my rotors ill be giving a review on them during the break inn period and after. yea its been done before but everyone's prospective is different

A lot of us run the Stop Tech brakes w/the Centrics & they work very good

 

Me being lazy i ended up spending $300 dollars replacing both brakes and rotors without a brake flush. today i took it out on a 25 min ride still breaking them inn so i dont have that much information ill update it this week after i finish breaking them inn

 

I had ET800's all around, and they worked pretty well, but I was able to get the fronts to fade when braking from higher speeds when doing canyon runs. I'm now running XT910's in the front, and still have ET800's in the rear. Haven't gotten to really use them yet, but they do have different characteristics.


I drove a car with ET500's, they're a nice street pad.

 

so far so good did some spirited runs and the brakes did good.i haven't drove them enough to recommend them but i don't have any complaints yet. Only time i have heard them squeal is after it gets really hot and its not loud with music on you wouldn't hear it.

 

after a couple of months of driving i noticed the squeak got significantly louder after hard breaking very noticbale and the rotors are now glazed the brake pads look to be holding up just fine would have to take them off to inspect them more but i can see the rotors are on the way out thinking of going to stop tech rotors slotted

 

Are you using the angled OEM shim plates front & rear?

If youre not, that very well could be the issue

 

i didnt install the brakes myself but i believe they re used the oem shims. either way that wouldn't be the reason the rotors are almost done i wouldnt recommend the rotors for longevity something cheap until u get something better would be the best option

 

If youre still getting the squeak, I would ensure the OEM shims are there.

And also, many of us run Centric rotors. They are made by Stop Tech & have endured many a mile on the track. They are time, tested tough as nails

 

FWIW: If your rotors only lasted 5 months, I'd look into the cause of the problem before buying new ones.

 

Yeah, something went wrong. The RB pads are easy on rotors. I run mine with centric slotted.

 

How are these pads? Guessing they squeal bc of being racing pads? I’m looking to upgrade my pads and rotors for prepperation for track days but haven’t really dig into a setup I want. Also with pads and rotors would you recommend braided brake lines?
