According to the part number it references the upper arm, but we know all six ball joints in the rear are the same.. Not sure if anyone has any actual experience with this brand and part number?
Bump for search purposes. I found this thread after finding the hardrace ball joints online. I called and in fact got a decent discount. http://www.buyhardrace.com/product/h...-ct9a_311.html
They go for $136 a set on their site, I called and got three sets for $313 shipped total.
These are back ordered for obvious reasons and the guy on the phone told me typically 7-10 days for shipping. I placed the order, inquired about the tracking number 6 days later which showed that they had actually been shipped the same day I got tracking but the package showed up 2 days later from Taiwan. All in all, a pretty decent experience from hardrace considering the only other alternative I found was all new OEM arms which come loaded with OEM ball joints at approximately $1000 per side.
The Hardrace appear to be Chinese. Unless the OEM ball joints are loose, I would not consider changing them for Chinese-made ball joints. In fact, I don't think I'd run Chinese-made under any circumstances unless it came from a very reputable company.
Hardrace is reputable from my research. And they appear to come from Taiwan which is better than China in my opinion. But none the less time will tell how these hold up.
I also think Hardrace might be Taiwanese. Megan / Hardrace looks like made at the same company somewhere in Taiwan, I run Megan adjustable control arm to reduce rear camber (stock is not adjustable) at my wife's 04 Acura TSX, and it holds up fine so far.
