Had alignment done recently and was thinking about getting added caster from lower control arm offset bushings. Would you need a realignment if taking the lower control arms down?

Pretty sure, changing caster will affect the other parameters. Cant change any of the front susp components w/out it affecting the other set points (toe, camber etc)

Moving the lower strut fwd, to achieve positive caster, has got to change at the very least toe

I've been able to make camber adjustments without affecting toe, etc. But caster is a whole nuther story. I'd definitely get it checked.

Changing camber definitely changes toe. Changing caster has a marginal effect on toe, depends where you are in the bump steer curve. Adding caster has a much bigger effect on bump steer than lowering the car.

We measured and didn't see movement, so I dunno.

Must've measured wrong, sorry. Camber def hanged toe. It changes the distance between the steering arm and the rack.

I suppose the alignment machine coulda been off. I dunno but it sure is nice driving around with normal camber in the front. Tires last a lot longer.
