Holy rusted axle nuts!

So I recently mounted some new te37s to my 8. Gotta say they look pretty amazing except for my axle nuts are exposed and are in terrible shape. They are coroted and rusted over. How hard is it to replace those and is it something I can do myself or should I take it to a shop? Any advice?

Watch this Vid. He is one of the best. Sounds like Muriatic acid worked the best but Krud Kutter worked pretty well

Looks like I would still have to remove axle nut which was my main concern. I don’t mind buying new ones since they’re only around $7 each however I’m not sure how much work it is removing and replacing the axle nut itself. Wasn’t sure if I’d need any special tools or what not. Thanks for the link tho👊😁

Heres a Vid on how to remove it.
Just need an impact or a long breaker bar. Torque going back on is: 167ft lbs

Well I think I’m going to just take it into a shop. I don’t have the proper tools to remove or replace them with the right amount of torque. Gonna be a couple hundred they said. They want to charge me $28 per nut😂 Probably gonna buy them before hand and just pay labor
