Front Control Arm Ball Joint Knuckle Bolt

I'm trying to pull my front control arms to replace bushings, but the bolt that holds the ball joint to the front knuckle will not come off. My 1100 ft lb impact didn't budge it. Is there some special trick to this one or do I have to torch it? It doesn't even look that rusted.

My impact zipped off exhaust bolts that looked a hundred times worse than these. Oh well, torch it is.

After looking at it more intently, it does seem that bottom thread and nut could be damaged causing it to bind.

When in doubt, leverage the back of the flanged nut and zip.

Does look like end threads are wonky
