Tein H-Techs

A search did very little in answering my questions...

These springs seem to be a good compromise... not too stiff, not too low. but i've heard that they are actually softer than the stock springs. is this the case? according to the spring rate chart on this site, that's not true.....

who has first hand experience with these? pros? cons?

any info is much appreciated...

greg

The H-Tech's have a stiffer spring rate than stock. They are just not as low as the S-Tech's. If I was buying another set of springs I'd buy the H-Tech's over the S-Tech's anyday.

I'm gonna hold out til fall and take my Volks off, put my stock wheels on, and raise my car up. I'm gonna use the winter to save for some coilovers.

i'm assuming you have the s-techs on right now....?
imo, yeah, the stechs lower the car too much. but are the h-techs too soft for the amount they lower the car? will i still be hitting the bump stops?

Search the forum for spring rate and you'll find all the info you need about spings/coilover.

For lazy bum, here is the link https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ht=spring+rate

I have H-tech on my ride for about a months. Highly recommended. The ride is comparable to stock but with a nice lower ride.

The H-Tech's are stiffer than the stock springs. Just as long as you trim the bump stop like it says you should be okay.

sweet, yeah, i just want the car to be a bit lower, so it sounds like the htechs are a good compromise... i'm suprised, most of the springs out there dump the car dramatically.
