Incidently, I also tried Goodyear F1 GS-D3, hated them. The car's handling became way too sloppy, ultimate grip suffered as well; I think the all-season ContiExtremes feel crisper than the Goodyears.

Glad I didn't try the Goodyears!
The Pilot Sports don't look too bad but if I'm going to spend 190 a tire again i'd just spend a few more and get advans.
How much did you sink into a set of corsa's?

justchil,
thanks for the thread.... anyway, the tyres are kinda good.... well for the price of it compared to the PS-IIs which are like USD100 more.... the only setback of the AD07s would be its quite noisy.. nevertheless, you cant have both worlds, can u? and it doesnt make any difference to the already noisy exhaust note.....

I don't see the AD07's in stock size? and the 225/45WR/R17's are like 204 each.
There is no way I could run a racing tire like the one's plokivo's is talking about. The weather here is very unpredictible. I would have to swap tires 2 or 3 times a day!
I HAVE to have something that is good in rain (at least as good as the Advans/S-03's)
One of these days I'll decide

This is just second hand info -- I've never used them myself -- but I hear that the Toyo T1-S is a good tire for both nasty rain and for dry grip. Some autocrossers use the T1-S as a rain tire; it's probably not quite as good as a dedicated wet race tire, but I don't think it's far behind.
I don't think it would be a good tire in any sort of snow, though.

Hey guys, I just saw some newly released Hankook R-S2 on tires.com that have almost the exact same pattern design as the Neovas and cost $119, they only come in 245-45 and 235-40 size though. Hankook has a 200 tread ware . I know we're probably comparing apples and oranges but if you're on a budget these are cheap. Has anyone tried these new tires?

Yea, Justchil the AD07s in the stock size have not been released in the US yet. I've been looking for pricing and availability on them as well. The best I've heard is they are scheduled for late Spring/early Summer and several places have never heard of them. Tirerack lists two sizes for the new Elise if you need info.

A definite downside is that they are asymetrical, you can't flip them, you can only mount front to rear.

Bogie, sounds like you really liked them. I have not been able to find many reviews of those tires. Did you run them on the track?

Where can I get a good deal on the Toyo T1-S? Normally I order from tire rack but they don't carry that tire :\ I'd prefer to order from a vendor
I did some google searching.. the pricing 130-180 depending on the site.
==========
Are there any decent looking wheel weights (not ones that snap on the rim) that I could get? I also need a set of black/gunmetal valve stems to replace the blue ones on my work emotions...
