ok,
My problem is at speeds above say 55 or 60 when i hit the brakes i get steering wheel shake, but not at low speeds. This is probably the 3 time that this has happened to me. (Have not tracked car) The dealers answer the first time was to cut the rotors. The second time they replaced my front pads and cut the rotors again. They obviously have a problem since it is coming back. the only other thing it could be is something wrong with the rotor. Or is it just some brake dust buildup or something from the oem pads?
Now, I recently brought SS brake lines and some DS2500 pads, and before I install them I would like to get this fixed.
Any ideas of what i should do, or any ideas of what to say to the dealer who knows jack?
Thanks,
Brett

It sounds like your rotors are warped. You seem to have the same characteristics I do. I at first thought of uneven pad deposit, but am pretty sure that isn't the case since it's the steering wheel shaking, and not my brake pedal. Still, there are a lot of factors...alignment, etc. Are you sure you're bedding in your pads correctly?
Since your dealer already resurfaced your rotors, they're more likely to warp again since they now have less material to disperse the heat. SS lines and Ferodo pads won't change the fact that your rotors are warped, though pedal feel should be much better with the SS lines.
I would see if your dealer would replace your rotors under warranty since many owners who do use their brakes quite hard, have had no problems. If they won't, just get a good replacement rotor in the stock size (Brembo slotted are only $400 for the fronts I think...). We have excellent stock brakes...I'm frustrated to be dealing with my rotors warping too though...good luck.
