Of course the whole point to a civic is that they are lightweight. That's why the old hatchbacks were so popular, like 2200 lbs or something ridiculous. There are a couple monster civics/integras that run at Bandimere that would eat me for lunch.

But I think his point was that he considers the dynojet numbers to be inflated.

Thanks to the OP for taking time to share your experience with Buschur Flash

The AGP cold air intake is not compatable with our current offerings and I will advise the guys at the sales desk at Buschur to let people know that it does nbot work well with our library of maps

Also, I appologize for the delay on the high altitude mapping for the X I had to go back and make some calculations of maps from 8's and IX's from sea level to CO high altitude and reach some calculations to transfer to the X maps as I have not yet tuned any in CO. 99.99% of them we get out the same day but in your car the extra time was needed to set up the map properly.

It seems like your car is running well and the power is good for that altitude.

If later you get a consistant a/f base line and feel it needs an adjustment I do those free of charge so just ship back the ecu with a good dynpo sheet / a/f log and I will take care of any adjustments it may need.

Glad you are enjoying your new found power

Al

Thanks Al, loving it so far. I am overall very happy with my results and experience with the flash. Luckily I was able to arrange things so I did not need my car for a third day.

And actually, the AGP intake DOES work, just had to be a little creative. All you have to do is not install the second half of the piping, and put the stock MAF housing and a filter on the end. I'm guessing the real problem is any intake that doesn't use the stock MAF housing, since that is what causes the AFR readings to be adjusted too much.

I will be posting 1/4 mile gains after I go to the track on Wednesday. I can't believe how quickly the car rev's now.

Nice job Buschur and Al. I know where I'll be going for my mods in the near future.. Al any plans on a tuning trip to Buschur racing in the future? Are you/have you tuned any X's with bigger injectors on E85? That is the route I will be going. Torque should be pretty nice.. :O

Numbers are not what you should use if you race. I can get to 500hp cars together, and one will crush the other.
I've seen some stupid fast civics putting less then 300 dwn-and they beat a lot of cars that claim 300+hp.....

This is exactly why dyno numbers are completely useless without baselines. It always perplexed me how people can go do a bunch of mods, get a tune, and dyno without a baseline.
