^That's what I was talkng about. Most tuners lock the ecu so the customer has to come back to them and my resonse to that is, well what if I move? What then? Or... "what if I wasn't happy with the way you tuned my car and I want someone else to tune it? These are my only issues with ecutek. I might well be ordeing an AP, as I already had one for my old STi and was very happy with it. The nly issue is that I want to be able to do a custom tune and if none of my local tuners have the pro tuner software then I'm SOL. Although, the street tuner software for the AP is now free, so maybe that could a solution...

 

we are very excited to see what this thing can do. we have had our ap for a while now (4weeks) but our build is just getting finalized. We seem to have a lot of mods to this car, so i called chris from cobb today and he said that it should be able to handle huge power. its all a matter of tuning. however he also stated that we can just upload any tune tho this without any problems. however the downfall about this is the fact that, we wanted to run atmospheric bov on our car (50mm) from tial. but coob does not support that at all. If only i have access to the fuel curve on this car i woulld be able to do it. it seems like we really do not have much of an option but to go with recirc. for the time being we are working on making a (50mm atmospheric) work for our car.
