Jestr- Evo X dyno tuning results thread
Yes, f'in way! I am going to share with you all why Franks car does so well with so little. It is simple, he doesn't buy sh@#ty manufactured parts. He MAKES most of his parts, and damn good ones at that! Don't believe me, stop by his shop and check it out. I know because he fabbed some parts for my car and it runs strong! A few more mods and I too will be posting some good numbers!
Actually the tune is not that aggressive , put the parts I have we have been tested for the last 23,000 miles . Now , we have designed and redesigned the same parts a few times each to get the best results . For example lets take the FMIC . We noticed that by using a taller core we began to lose power after the frist time we go into boost and the problem gets wrost to more times you boost ; the same goes for the manifold . We first did desgins we know to work on other cars but on the X we ran into serious heat issues so we made other designs that do not LOOK as COOL but WORK many times better .
Sorry for the delay I did see that PM a few days back but we all have been at the shop working pretty much everyday since - one day staying here 24hours without sleep
.. I just sent you back a replyFrank
..
As crazy as it sounds , some just cannot see it that way
I've taken guys out that own other GSR's and running pump they ALL with no exceptions have been impress with how my car runs - and this was when it was untuned . ....
i would like to know if this was done on 91 oct. or 93 oct. or race gas??...those are some amazing numbers!!...congrats to jestr for the great tuning and to xtremeboost's parts...so little for so much...keep up the great work and amazing parts!!...
93 gas
Since we have found the issue and fixed it , tonight we're meeting up with john so we can do some more runs at higher boost ..
at around 4500 rpms it was spiking 27lbs , tonight I will post the dyno sheets . The car was holding just under 22lbs at 21.9lbs. Filex saw some of the dyno pulls in person , I'm sure he clearly saw how well my car holds power all the way up to 8,000 rpms ...
