E85 + Evo 10 =
UPDATE: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7044333-post55.html
So we had our first Evo 10 tuned on E85 today at the shop. I think this is the first E85 tuned 10 in the USA, at least posted about?
Anyway I was impressed so far. It's a Evo 10 with a fairly basic bolt on build, there are some little things that could gain more power on E85 but given that it was the first E85 10 I have tuned I didn't feel I wanted to really push it yet. Obviously we have done a ton of Evo 8/9 E85 tuning so that experience did help.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We use a Mustang dyno for all tuning at our shop. I usually post sheets printed directly from the Mustang dyno computer but I am going to change it up a little bit from now on to save some paper and scanning time. I am now exporting all the data directly from the Mustang dyno computer and plotting it in Excel. If there is ever a question of validity with this method, please let me know and I will print out the direct sheet and scan it in if requested.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enough of that, let's get to the Evo 10.
2008 Evo 10 GSR
Mods:
Ultimate racing downpipe with integrated 02 housing
Ultimate racing test pipe
RRE stealth catback
Bosch 950cc injectors (I didn't even know these where out, they worked great)
AMS FMIC
Ultimate Racing intake
Nisei Intercooler piping
GST Boost pill upgrade
Tuned on 91 oct and E85
364whp / 360wtq on E85
320whp / 321wtq on 91oct
+44whp / +39wtq on E85
Orange plots are E85, Grey are 91oct:
This Evo 10 was strong on 91 oct. So far the highest horsepower stock turbo 91 oct Evo 10 on our dyno. Of course it woke up even more on E85.
Boost plots:
As you can see, Boost falls to the same level on E85 and 91oct at 6200rpm+. This is being run at 100% duty cycle. I have a couple ideas on getting some more boost out of the stock turbo that I am going to look into trying soon. GM 3port and Upgrade actuator I think will make a great combo.
The gains overall are inline with what we see over 91 oct on the stock turbo on the Evo 8/9. Perhaps a little less horsepower gain, but again, the boost is the same up top on both fuels on this Evo 10.
Here is the E85 and 91 tuned power VS 100% stock Evo 10. (green plots)
Stay tuned for more.

E85 is from the Hayward station.
No map switching yet with EcuFlash. Customer has a cable and laptop to do the switching with. He plans on running E85 full time unless he does long trips.

You beat me to it on the post. I'll post soon on my e85 with fpred and kelford cams. Been busy lately.
Nice numbers. We are getting the pump set up for the X and back on the dyno she goes.

Vicious: Brentwood (west LA Area) and Oceanside (towards san diego)
Those are our 2 closest locations if E85 is your thing.
Bryan.. Sick gains! I am assuming this was a conservative toon?
I can't wait to go green on my X. few more days and I should have some results!

What are you doing? Going to buy a huge drum of it?
BTW... GST... did the E85 Evo X have an upgraded fuel pump also?

Stock pump still. No fueling issues. Again, the turbo really wasn't pushing any more air up top over the 91 tune so not a huge fuel system stress... yet.
