RPM setup issue or run aborted early? Looks like it was still building power when the run ended.

What is a stock X putting out on that dyno?

I've seen Mustang AWD Dynos putting out anywhere from 235 to 270whp.

On a stock X? On a properly calibrated Mustang dyno...shouldn't it run anywhere from 220-230 stock? 270awhp seems awfully a lot on the mustang dyno.

Bone stock Evo X's range from 205whp-215whp on our dyno dynamics.

The run looks like it was aborted early. You can clearly see the car was going to make more power.

Hey guys,

Just for clarification, a bone stock EvoX put down about 240whp on our dyno last November. Here is the graph: http://efilogics.com/dyno/graph.php?...&torque=1&gb=0

As for Kyle's car, we actually did bring it up to 7000rpm, for some reason (an issue we are working on) the dyno database online will clip the last 200 rpm's if it is under a certain value.. This is a bug we are working on.

Today we tuned another EvoX, this time we actually change the restrictor pill, and we brought the RPM's up to 7200rpm, the dyno database then read the final result. That run is here: http://efilogics.com/dyno/index.php?...&torque=1&gb=0

Hope that helps,

Chris

I'm interested to see how the X's turn out for power/reliability. Keep us updated. Can't believe there is a tuner in my neck of the woods. I'm just in the town over!

Jay, we tuned this one a bit differently.. The car was having difficulties achieving target boost pressure, so we actually put the stock restrictor pill back in, and replaced the turbo side restrictor.. This achieved more boost and better overall boost control - hence the better numbers.
