CBRD Pro-Tuned X MR

282whp/277wtq

AEM intake, HKS WGA, Nisei UICP, UR downpipe + HFC, Megan racing catback

My scanner is currently inoperable so I can't scan the graph at the moment.

I'm overall very pleased with the tune although I was expecting a bit more peak power.

Power delivery is incredibly smooth throughout and throttle tip-in feels very refined. Almost feels like TCU adjustments were made as the SST shifts feel much smoother (probably due to the much improved top end and not falling on it's face prior to shifting). This tune has really brought out the highlights of the SST.

Let me just add that CBRD is a Class A establishment. Very professional, I was greeted immediately and treated like a guest. They certainly have won me as a long time customer just based on this visit. I have had my experiences with multiple tuners in the Mid-A (good and bad) over the years and this was definitely the most positive experience.

How long did it take to tune your car? I plan on going to CBRD here in the next month or so for some tuning.

it was probably an hour 20 mins from start to stop,

it was our first MR tune, so i was trying to see what differences there may be in the ECU (since some people had bricked the ECU's)

i LOVE the gearbox...

I would say approximately 3 hours (total visit), but that included them fixing a couple things under the hood.

Why is it that everyone under 400whp seems to only use low reading dynos?

If the car feels better and the graph has more area under the curve, you're golden.

BTW, what octane?
