English Racing Evo X MR

Phillip brought us his MR with a few mods already on it. ETS Intercooler, ETS Intercooler piping, AEM intake, and a modified BCS. We installed the ETS V2 catback (left the cat in the car) in the morning and then headed to the dyno. Our Dynojet was giving me some problems with the tach pick up but we went ahead with the tune and made some very nice numbers. Initial baseline with no tune and the mods was 275whp at 26psi (modded BCS most likely). Some quick tuning yielded this:

MRs seem to be down overall with the same mods, but at this boost level its knock free and running high timing (higher than an 8 or 9). I managed to get the torque value on an earlier pull and at 315whp it was 300 ft lbs. I would surmise we were probably about 310 or so based on other MRs we have done.

Congrats Phillip and enjoy the new found power,

EnglishRacing

Do you know if that is the 3.5 or 4" intercooler?

Those are huge boost numbers compared to what I got<jealous>

The hp is pretty similar though. Wonder if the intercooler makes that much difference on the boost or if our readings were not accurate last week, or a little of both.

Grats on some good gains! Good to see another MR.

It had the 3.5" on. We also went back and rechecked the MAP sensor it is accurate actually.

2.6 Beta and it shows no more than scattered 1s. I am not sure about your car since I wasnt there Daniel. Maybe the elevation and temp change? Not sure.

Yeah who knows. We did not have 2.6 available at the time.
