No problem, glad it finally started to work properly. It's a absolute blast to drive thru the corners when you roll on the power. Can't wait for a autoX to take it for a spin.

With some cams, and a O2/downpipe combo, I would think the car would put down 400whp+ on CBRDs dyno. Stock is around 225whp on CBRDs dyno right? Well, just say 400whp. 400/225 = ~1.78

1.78 * 291 crank stock rating = ~518crank hp. The 3076 is generally rated at 525 crank horsepower. Seems about right on?

I agree, for a street car, it's not my preference to have that much lag. I'd go for the smaller 3071. BUT, it seems to me that the 3076 is doing what it's suppose to do.

Not going to gain 87hp with cams/downpipe homie. He will need more than that to crack 400hp on Chads dyno.

I already have a AMS downpipe.

The next two upgrades are cams and a CBRD BBK turbo when that's out.

If you are putting down 400whp on the CBRD dyno you are making some serious power .

Uh, I was refering to the 3076 on Chad's car. As far as I know, he was still on the stock O2 housing/downpipe and cams, and the car put down 370whp. Add in the cams and O2/downpipe combo, and it should put the car over 400whp on pump gas, which is roughly 525 crank that Garrett rates all their 3076s at (NOT 530whp as Clipse3GT was under the impression of for some reason).

I love how so many people are so quick to dump on the Garrett turbo.

The Garrett GT3076r needs a full set of supporting mods to get the full potential out of the larger housing it uses. While I loved how my stock turbo had strong low end torque relative to the peak HP which was about ~380 HP & 380 TQ at the crank, there is no competition to my new setup that is around ~500 HP & 430 TQ. I'm using crank HP numbers for comparison because everyone has a different reading dyno... with cams I fully expect to be at 550 HP mark and no stock turbo car is going to come close to that rate of acceleration.

While a torque monster car will be great coming out of slow corners at lower RPM's, when rowing the gears at 5500-7500 where the stock turbo is tapering down to 20 psi or lower you are losing more torque over that RPM range than a larger turbo car that flows quite a bit more volume of air. Everything else being equal there is always a tradeoff between low end response/spool vs top end power. Some setups will work well with minimal mods while larger turbos tend to need more supporting mods to make the loss in the low RPM ranges worth the gains on the top end.

Anyways, nice setup on the stock turbo, must feel great on the street and daily driving.
