FWIW, this is actually what FP Red's make on this dyno. Despite constant rumors of 'dynojet correction factors', for some reason, our dyno reads very consistently and the power output actually matches the flow 'ability' of the turbo combination. I've tuned 15-20 fp reds and this is REALLY what they make...

I concur the numbers look just like what we make here with the RED on the evo 10.

Have any of you guys noticed that the Blouch's flow any more, the dom2's?

The two turbos seem to be very comparable and DG Motors seem to think they flow a little more?

Any comments on that

Sorry to hear you're disappointed, but nobody who has ridden with me seems to share that feeling. Most people have mentioned the nice compromise between insane power and quick spool-up. It is still a stock-frame turbo, afterall. I'll post an updated slip, though, once the car is done.

Went back to AMS for some tweaks and to make the switch from manual boost control to ECU boost control. So far I'm very happy with the results. Driveability has improved and the car is smoother and more civil at part throttle and on/off transitions. I just have to remember now to keep my foot to the floor to stay at peak boost, but I think that's how it should be . The car holds a bit more boost to redline and also picked up a few HP while there, which never hurts . THANKS AGAIN, AMS!!

Same here. It's available here but the pump closest to me is too far away to make it feasible. Good work AMS.

Chris, sorry for my dumb question but can the X Reds just not be pushed over 30psi like the IXs or are there limitation with the Stock computer holding you back? Also do you think the 12cm housing help the turbo from falling off as hard as the 10.5cm housing on the IXs? Thanks

Nice setup that seems to be in the 575 crank HP range based on what I've seen the AMS DynoJet convert to. That should be good for low 11's maybe even high 10's with the right launch at 125-126 mph. That is also assuming you can rev out 4th gear in the quarter, the final drive upgrade is going to be a necessary component for most people without building the engine to allow 9k rpm's.

Hopefully I can manage similar numbers or even hit 500 whp on a dynojet with Cams, race gas, and higher boost.
