400whp/400wtq Blouch 2.0/C-16

Today we had a different kind of build finalize with some exciting tuning.

The primary focus was to make matching horse power and torque with relatively low boost on race fuel by utilizing timing and dual mivec with the 4b11-t power plant.

Many of the tunes I post are high boost on 93 Octane to make big power most of the time. Today I got to really focus on dialing in proper timing to make power with the least boost possible on one of the most stable race fuels you can purchase which is C-16.

At 27psi, 413whp and 400wtq was achieved on my dyno on a .998CF.

(For reference I am running 14* timing at peak boost on C-16 @ 26psi)

Mods:

-Blouch Dominator 2.0 Turbo
-Cosworth MX1 Cams
-Arp Head Studs
-Arp Rod Bolts
-Buschur 4.5" Race IC w/ 3" Race Piping
-Buschur Intake
-Buschur Turbo Back Exhaust
-Custom o2 Housing w/ external dump
-Ported Exhaust Manifold
-Ported Intake Manifold
-Boomba 64mm Throttle Body
-1,000 c.c Injectors w/ 255 fuel pump
-Exedy Twin HD w/ DG Motors Evo 9 Master Cyl. Conversion Kit
-Forge Manual Boost Controller
-Forge Blow Off Valve
-Stock Bottom End, Maf, Ecu

Tuned by myself via Ecuflash/Evoscan

Exciting car to drive with a broad power band. We may turn the wick up to 35psi and see what it can do in the following week or so.

Nice result!

P.S. I thought Boomba only makes 64mm or 75mm TB?

This is the most efficient blouch build I have tuned yet..I've never had a blouch or a red hold like this to red-line on a Mbc...A typical red or blouch unit will usually taper 2 psi at this boost pressure by 7,000rpm, especially on a mbc.

The custom o2 dump, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, and throttle body must really be helping the boost stay flat and steady.

The forge blow off valve must also be helping hold boost steady as a rock as well.....

Note: Never touched the blouch wga, just left it how it came.

We will see what happens in the next week or so as I am real anxious to see what I can squeeze out at 28, 30, 32, and even 35psi.

Honestly was one of my most enjoyable tunes thus far with an Evo X. It is great to use some solid fuel and be able to hit MBT once in a while with these builds...

Pump Gas<Race Gas

Pump Gas=Fun-Race Gas=Exciting
