the Forge RS is what i almost always recommend for big turbo cars, but for stock turbo cars it gives fluttering when gently lifting and part throttle conditions (especially when lifting to match speeds on the highway). the standard for DV works fine for stock turbo and has a few different springs and shims you can mess around with so it holds boost and doesn't flutter. we have a couple APS twin vent BOVs coming in to try on some cars but they are super backordered. mellon said he loves it on his car, as well as a few others that road race their cars.
Yup it seems to be all in the install with the synchronics. Have one guy with 31 psi holding 29psi with no issues, on a stock appearing turbo. If you install it the traditional way it doesn't work well. The way the locals are installing it seems to work great. If you look on evoempire they did a whole install thread about it. No flange needed.

The APS does work well too. Had a customer hold 32psi across no issues with it. Good drivability.

Good numbers Goofy!!

I'm the guy that KevinD swapped the stock 9 BOV with the Forge BOV. It made a hell of a difference. I had my doubts, but you learn something new everyday!

What's the story with the APS? It has a dual vent set up. Does that mean part gets VTA?

Maybe we need to start a BOV thread separate from this. I know there are a lot of them but they all seam to be inconclusive and/or contradictory.

If you will run stock turbo then the BlaqOps single kit and a set of DW1000's is a no-brainer.

The catch with the double-pump is that you have to ship in your stock pump housing...not convenient if your Evo is your daily. That's why I'm looking into doing my own with a housing from Full Blown.

Lol I think I'm gonna order the Buschur Double Pumper and 1000cc or 1200cc so that it would work if I did a stock appearing turbo upgrade
