316awhp Evo X MR

Hey guys, just had my X MR tuned by Jack at HP Logic (He did the white 503awhp MR).
I have the following go-fast mods:
Agency Power Short Ram Intake
Agency Power 3" Turbo Inlet Pipe
Agency Power 3" Cat-back Exhaust
Agency Power Radiator Hoses
Agency Power Lightweight Underdrive Pulley
* AMS 3" Hi-flow Catalytic Converter
HKS 3" Downpipe w/ custom 02 bung
HKS Upper and Lower Intercooler Pipes
HKS SSQV BOV
HKS High Pressure Radiator Cap
Perrin FMIC
Removed Upper Wastegate Restrictor Pill

After some trouble with OpenECU, we decided to use the Cobb AP and do a protune with that. Since this is the MR, Jack had to tone down the boost in certain places so the tranny doesn't disengage or slip.

All in all, reliability and driveability is great (I've gone 500miles since the tune).

Let me know what you think!:

Why so much error correction in the boost curve?

276 wtq and 20psi peak (at 4400rpm even) is far from any problems with the SST if tuned correctly.

Yeah that boost curve is pretty bad. But none the less, pretty good numbers

...Thank you for the kind words ...

as you may not realize...this is on a Mustang Dyno...this particular dyno reads very low...these numbers would be closer to 350whp on a dyno jet...

....in short it is boost control ....we were originally doing the tune with OpenECU but encountered a rom issue that bricked the ecu....this required me to spend a bit of time recovering the ECU and after a bit of debate the customer decided to stick with the cobb...that being said I made one map for the car and the customer informed me they had to leave(we burned 3-4hours building the bench harness to recover..totally my fault)...so I guess you could say we ran out of time....I would have no problems ironing out the details at anytime...but the customer is happy and that is what is important to me...NO MATTER WHAT.

Thank you

-Jack

Ya, at some point I will go back to HP Logic and have Jack do a full Cobb Protune, or, at least tweak mine a little bit further.
