CBRD tuned Evo X MR light mods
Tuesday Aug 17th I made my trip out to the CBRD Speed Factory to get some work done on my 2010 Evo X MR and a tune. Drove up from Northern Virginia and was actually happy to be in a reasonable distance from this badass shop! As soon as I entered the facility Chad walked right out and introduced himself and gave me a tour around. It was such a great place to be for any auto enthusiast. So many books and magazines to read, Top Gear on the telle, and the history of CBRD in the making on the walls. There were lots of other customer's cars to gawk at. The place looked great and the car shop was immaculate. I knew my baby would be in good hands.
Chad installed an ETS 3" FMIC with lower and upper hard pipes. An AMS boost pill and helped me out by adding another inch on the bend for my ETS V2 exhaust, I had installed the exhaust myself. It now has clearance away from the rear hanger and no longer vibrates the cabin. The work quality was fantastic! Chad answered any questions I had about the car and any future mods I might want to add.
My goal for these mods were to get the car right where I feel it should have been when I first purchased the car. My main concern was to get my power band more usable past the 5k RPM line.
The car now runs like it should. Smooth power, great acceleration and sounds brilliant! This will keep me happy for a long time! I will post pictures of the ETS exhaust customization and pictures of the FMIC. I will also add some Dyno pull footage when I get it edited this weekend. For now here is my chart.
Mods:
ETS 3" FMIC Upper and lower pipes
AMS boost pill
ETS 200Cell HFC
ETS V2 Exhaust
K&N Dropin Airfilter
running on 93 Octane
Results: 275HP 282 Ft-lbs torque 27psi tapering to 19

CBRD Dyno with ETS v2 Exhaust
Here is one of the Dyno pulls at CBRD. I took the car out last night for joy riding and I am so ecstatic with the performance of this vehicle.
