Yes that is correct. It's just a downpipe. No o2 housing with it.

Cobb didn't do the swaps for us. Kracka and I did the installs ourselves. I helped with his and he helped me with mine. All Cobb did was retune us.

It's not TOO hard to swap them but it did take us like 4 hours to do the IM/TB and probably 4 hours to do the EM. We didn't do it all at once. EM one Saturday and then the IM/TB the following Saturday. My weekend schedule is rough for the next month as I'll be getting ready to move. Kracka might be free. If I can make it, I'll lend a hand.

Since your car will be at Cobb anyways, might be best to let them do it. You'll have to take it in for a retune after the parts are on so it might be worth your time/money to just have them do it while they're in there.

The IM/TB swap was fairly easy, I'd be willing to lend a hand if you decide to do it.

I do also wish you'd done a test that didn't involve the EM as well. Most ppl make big gains from ported exhaust manifolds, and I've seen hit or miss on the IM/TB. Did you all happen to check gains w/o the exhaust?

Here's the best I can offer you, before/after just the exhaust manifold, but no tuning. Adding just the manifold did make the car go rich, but it did show some gains in the top end from the additional flow. Tuning is really needed to extract the extra power available from ported manifolds.

Its all good. Eventually I may try IM/TB, I just want to see someone make clear gains from just those parts. Interesting nonetheless

Jake,

If you need an IM core so you can reduce the downtime and not have to pay a core charge, I still have mine. I can sell it to you.
