320whp with full bolt ons on e85..

I feel like this is low? Should I take the car to get tuned somewhere else or what? The car was street tuned by a smaller shop a ton of people recommended me to.

I got ets uicp, air intake, test pipe, downpipe, catback, dw fuel pump, I'd 1000cc injectors and tuned on e85. I thought I would be a lot closed to 380 or so. Car is a 2011 MR.

Edit: also a gm 3-port.

MR cars dyno lower than GSR by a decent bit could be that, and could be a mustang dyno reading lower than dyno jets

These numbers are pretty low, assuming you're using virtual dyno. I did 330whp on crappy AZ 91 via the VD and confirmed on a DJ. A buddy of mine has a Evo X MR with full AMS bolt-ons, ID1000's, a DW265c on E85 and he did 365whp on a DJ. I'd say take it to another shop

This was all done on a vd and street tuned. I don't know whether I should call the shop and try to talk to them about it, but like I said this seems really low for my mods.

Could this be that Road Tune is so conservative cuz it is done in a non-controlled environment?

So did I just waste $400 on tuning? The place I took it to is 5 hour round trip so I can't easily take my car back.

How many pounds of boost was your car tuned on?

There's your problem. The whole reason people run E85 is because it burns slow and cool. It allows for more boost and more timing. On E85 you can get away with 28psi no problem. Some guys have even ran 30psi. Not advocating this by any means. But you should at least be able to run 28psi safely with 0 knock. Crank it up to 28 and there's your 360whp. 24psi is pump gas boost

although 320 does seem like a low number for your mods on e85, did you take into consideration the weather? it's been pretty warm lately and that affects numbers since the hotter the air the less dense it is. same thing with humid weather. also those are not full bolt ons since you did not mention licp and an o2 housing and an aftermarket ic, which actually helps, I believe it is still pretty low, I also heard that road tuning can show about 5% less of what the car makes, correct me if im wrong on that. but yeah, id talk to another tuner and see what they think. goodluck

I was at 316whp, but for longevity sake, got the boost dialed back about 2lbs and dropped to 300whp. Given that I was getting close to 320whp on 93oct and no HFC...I'd say you should be higher
