I installed these myself and didnt have any problems with the white(day)/ amber(night) setup...

^^^ You might want to take it to a real shop, because it really isnt that difficult...

the prosports have an optional warning light for all their gauges. if its going in a race car, why not some autometers? theyre a pretty trusted brand in motorsports.
I have had 2 autometer boost gauges lock up at 27psi and blow my vacuum lines of the car. I have had 3 sending units go back in 4 months. i am DONE with Autometer's

Replacing all my gauges, and I have cost in mind so these seem like an awesome deal

Okay well I'm ordering the ProSport Performance series in Amber/White 52mm.

I want to get the Premiums but I'm trying to keep cost down for the more important stuff.

I'm going to check out the boost gauge when I get it, make sure it reads properly.

I'm getting a boost gauge and a oil pressure gauge. Not sure if I want to go electric or not on the boost gauge?

I'm getting a good deal on an AEM Wideband so I'm going with that but in the future I will get the ProSport EGR, Oil Temp and Water Temp gauges if I am happy with the product.

And another question, will the Performance series gauges accept the warning light indicators they sell. That is an amazing feature for any racer, we dont have time to look down except for occasional long straight aways. A light would go along way

if the boost gauge 0s out, you should be good to go.

ha, what makes you think I didn't. I took it to 3 places - all good - so there is obviously something wrong with my gauge.
Not EVERY gauge will be perfect.
I like the price/feature set of the premium gauge and it read accurate and records peak etc fine, mine just wasn't perfect with the color change.

awesome thread about these gauges & alot of nice installs that i would certainly consider. i really how grey razor installed his gauges to change color based off a switch instead of off the car's lighting. i can see how that can be ueful given a wide range of situations.

I had a good shop try (I watched what they did myself)

The color change with White in night/Amber in day worked...but who the hell would want that. The white was a flashlight in my face at night.
Now by reversing the connection on 2 wires the reverse color change SHOULD have worked....but didn't. I just have it set to amber all the time now which isn't as easy to see in the day but not terrible.
switch the wires? forget the instructions, just tap your 12v ig, constant, ground, and illumination off the radio harness. hands down the easiest way to do it.

well, if the pod supports 52mm or 60mm then just buy the appropriate sized gauge.

I have two 60mm Prosport gauges going into a 60mm Gruppe-S Panel. It will look sick when I'm done. BUT -- I have a question

I have two gauges and three gauge slots. I already have Boost and Oil Pressure. Which other gauge should I get? I got the 60mm Premium Amber/White gauges and I am torn between getting a third gauge in that series that will match the others (I'm OCD) or getting a AFR kit. Problem is the Prosport AFR gauge doesn't log and the other gauges (Zeitronix, Innovate, AEM) are 52mm AND don't match the Prosport gauges...

That's my dilemma. So I want to know what everyone would do in my situation. I don't really tune a lot or think a visual AFR is necessary. Should I just get another matching gauge? If so, which one, EGT, Water temperature, Oil Temperature?

Thanks!
