As above really, is the headunit on the factory satnav unit made by rockford and fosgate or is it manufactured by someone else and just connected to their amps and speakers? Just i can't find any info on rockford and fosgate headunits. Many thanks and hopefully i don't look too stupid!

 

well the only thing i know is if you go to the rockford webside. Do a product serch and look for OEM. They break down what they give you for the EVO X and it includes the NAVI unit. Now if they make it or not? not shure? they just might brand it as their own.

Well it's actually called Rockford Fosgate...there's no "and" in between the two words (that should help when searching). The head unit, speakers and amp are all Rockford Fosgate. But as some other members on here have said, they're not quite as "hi-end" as they used to be...not sure how true this is though. Here is the Evo X link from their site...hope this helps.

thanks, i've noticed you can by the bits seperately with canada cars and the us gets more when it selects the sat nav pack (sss?). With us its a pack, gs comes with 6 speakers and 6 disc mp3 cd, or gsr which comes with 9 speakers (inc sub in boot, which i'm not bothered about) and the hdd sat nav unit. But it costs £2500 approx $5000 at todays rates!!
