Thanks Everyone involved!!!

I just wanted to thank all those involved in this process. I used razkal how to burn ISO's and it worked like a charm. If anyone in the Atlanta/Alpharetta, Ga area needs help feel free to PM me.

For what its worth, your app appears to work perfectly under Wine in Linux.

Did you create a patch for your nav with his new app? I really want the patch, but I am scared to use a program that isnt fully developed and risk bricking my nav.

Last I checked, his app didn't allow saving the KWI files. Check Otaku's posts on the latest status of the program.

With regard to bricking the navi, if you're able to remove the hard drive, unlock it, and make a backup of your existing loading.kwi, then the risk of "bricking" it becomes very very low.

Any word on the 30.97? I downloaded Otaku's app and it looks like he's moving to a licensing method (likely to keep people from charging for his work).

Got it in one ..
I was mortally offended by the ebay thing.
The software is a pretty much fully featured editor for your MMCS.
Enhancements coming in the new year are here.

His utility will also make it extremely easy to modify the images, etc. used in the MMCS so you can customize it however you want!

There's a preview of this utility on his website if you want to see what I'm talking about.

Should really read before posting. Its been answered many times that he is creating a patch that will allow us to customize whatever version we got. Yeah its taking forever but hey, at least someone is working on it and its also free

I think that is more than fair! But please make it simple to use without us having to remove the hard drive.
Thanks for your work on this project

The Australian MMCS

I suspect our brothers in NZ get the same one. It's definitely very different from what you get in the US. The only info that I can provide is that it's a Kenwood and there's a mark on the bottom right of the front face plate A-01. There isn't a HDD. Map info and music are via seperate DVDs. Here are some images:

Anyone can help out by providing a crack for watching DVDs while in motion?
Also anyone with access to this system's manual for wiring so I can get my own reverse parking camera installed?

Thanks in advance... .
